The face behind The Nesting Mama
Hi, I’m Sandy!
As a Mama of 2 beautiful girls, I know how busy life can get and how challenging and overwhelming it can be to keep on top of the housework. That’s why I have created The Nesting Mama. I help take the stress and headache out of decluttering, organising and styling your home. I have a range of different packages to suit different needs and budgets, but I can always put together a custom package to suit you. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Where did the idea for “The Nesting Mama” come from?
I have always had a passion for design and beautiful homes. Growing up, I was inspired by my parents who loved building and renovating homes, and this passion rubbed off on me. I studied both Building Design and Interior Design and I spent the past 10 years as a Draftsperson working for one of Australia’s top home builders, as well as previously running my own 3D Architectural Rendering business.
I first renovated my own home when I was just 22 years old, and since then have always found little projects to do around the house. (Much to hubby’s delight!)
Having a toddler and a baby at home while working means I’ve really had to streamline our organisation systems. I struggled with this during my pregnancies as I suffered from severe morning sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum. This debilitating sickness meant I couldn’t do all of the nesting that I so desperately wanted to do in our home.
And that’s what sparked my idea to start up The Nesting Mama. I am so passionate to help other Mamas who are struggling with pregnancy or postpartum. Together with this passion to help others, with my love for all things organisation and design, The Nesting Mama was born.
